Summertime … and working out isn’t so easy! Vacations are a wonderful chance to relax and recuperate, but that doesn’t mean your workout routine has to take a break too. These three no-equipment vacation workouts will have you sweaty and ready to fully enter relaxation mode in 30 minutes or less!

Vacation Workout #1 – HIIT workout

High intensity interval training is a quick and (you guess it) intense way to get your burn on.
1. Warm up – Walk or jog for about 5 minutes
2. Perform each move for 45 seconds with 20 seconds of rest in between.
Jumping jacks
Mountain climbers
High knees
Walking lunges
Pushups
3. Repeat 3 times with minimal rest between rounds.
4. Cool down with an easy jog and stretch.

Workout #2 – Interval Run

Pack your running shoes and a watch (or your phone) for this vacation workout. Like a HIIT workout, a tempo run will push the intensity of your work for certain durations of time. Here’s a simple interval run vacation workout:
1. Warm up with as easy jog for 5 minutes.
2. Run at a pace about 50% of your fastest pace for 1 minute.
3. 60% pace for 1 minute.
4. 70% pace for 1 minute.
5. Return to a comfortable pace for recovery for 3 minutes.
6. Repeat 3 times.
7. Cool down at a gentle pace or walk, ending with light stretching.


Workout #3 – HIIT Workout with Running Intervals

Can’t decide which vacation workout to do? Why not both! Here we blend HIIT intervals with running intervals for some strength and some cardio.
1. Warm up with as easy jog for 5 minutes.
2. Perform each move for 45 seconds with 20 seconds of rest in between.
Mountain climbers
High knees
Run at 60% pace
Pushups
Run at 70% pace
3. Repeat 3 times with minimal rest between rounds.
4. Cool down with an easy jog and stretch.
